Farmington, CT, November 6, 2012 … Mr. Jerry Lynch, Chairman and CEO of General Re–New England Asset Management, Inc. (GR–NEAM) announced that Mr. Christopher Myers has joined GR–NEAM as an Enterprise Risk Management professional. Mr. Myers is responsible for capital management and corporate development activities for non-life and international insurers, reporting to Jim Bachman Ph.D., Vice President Capital Management, GR–NEAM.

Mr. Myers has over 18 years of financial risk management and insurance experience. Prior to joining GR–NEAM, Mr. Myers was global head of Aon Benfield's Enterprise Risk Management advisory practice. Before Aon Benfield he worked in risk management and underwriting roles at Standard and Poor's, Citibank, AIG and Chubb. Mr. Myers has a BA from Virginia Military Institute, an MBA from University of Chicago, and is pursuing a Doctorate at University of Manchester in England. He is also a CFA Charterholder, a Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF) holder and a GARP certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM®).
