GR–NEAM Appoints New Chief Investment Officer

Farmington, CT, July 22, 2014 … Mr. William (Bill) Rotatori, Chief Executive Officer of General Re–New England Asset Management, Inc. (GR–NEAM), announced that Mr. Calvin (Chip) Clark has been appointed Chief Investment Officer in addition to his current role as President of GR–NEAM.

“Chip is uniquely positioned to lead our investment effort having been responsible for the Investment Group and the Client Strategy Group in prior roles. As we move forward building our client-focused insurance investment capabilities, I am confident that Chip's intelligence, knowledge, capital market experience and passion for our business will provide for terrific leadership,” said Mr. Rotatori.
Mr. Clark has over 28 years of investment experience and has been with GR–NEAM since 1991 having served in a variety of roles within the Investment and Client Strategy groups. He graduated from Middlebury College with a B.A. in Economics.
